Transport Planner - Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan efficient routes and driver schedules using TMS to optimise national haulage network
• Tailoring daily transport plan to regional need and operational variances
• Observe and monitor adherence toUK/EU rules on driver working hours, breaks, and tachograph usage.
• Utilisenetwork resource as needed across the network
• Record issues accross the operation and flag to appropraite senior leadership
• Utilise subcontractors and other external resource as necessary

Skills Needed:

• Strong decision-making and commercial judgment in time-sensitive, peak-demand environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with planning systems/TMS
• Familiar with inudstry legislation (VOSA)
• Experience in transport planning is necessary with a background in general haulage being highly advantageous
